What is supported independent living?
Supported independent living (SIL) is a National Disability Insurance Scheme support. With SIL, NDIS participants or people with disabilities live alone or in a shared house. Inclusion Management can provide 24/7 care depending on the level of support required.
What support will I receive?
Inclusion Management will provide help and /or supervision of daily tasks to help you live independently as possible, while building your skills. SIL happens in your home-usually in a home you share with other NDIS participants.
We assist you with;
- Cleaning and laundry,
- Nutrition and cooking,
- Personal care (such as showering and dressing),
- Going to appointments,
- Medication assistance,
- Taking up hobbies,
- Learning to catch public transport,
- Community inclusion and social participation,
- Skill development, and
- Active support.
What are the houses like?
Our homes are carefully chosen.
Who will I live with?
Inclusion Management will help you find the right person to live with. This will be your choice regarding age, similar interests, and gender.
What qualifications do your staff have?
Our staff are qualified in the disability sector and have all the clearances required to work under the NDIS rules. We are a registered provider and get audited regarding our provided supports.
All qualifications are in line with the roster of care.
Can family be involved in the process?
Our team works in close collaboration with the individual, their families, and caregivers to identify the most suitable living arrangements that are beneficial for all parties involved. Working collaborative together we can provide a supportive and empowering living experience for our participants.
